The Floata-Round is a round pool float you sit in, not on. A 70cm seat sinks into the middle of a 140cm ring, so it works like a floating chair: upright, comfortable, drink within reach.

CareRinse, dry, roll
- After a swim Rinse with fresh water and stand it on its side to drain
- Salt pools Rinse every time. Salt dulls fabric, not sunlight
- Storage Air dry before rolling, and store it dry over winter
Olefin is quick drying and resists mould and mildew, so it comes out the same next season.
Does the fabric cover prevent the sticky plastic feeling of traditional floats? COOL TO TOUCH
Olefin is a woven textile so it stays cool to the touch and feels like upholstery. A PVC float heats in the sun and clings to bare skin.
Why does it cost more than a forty dollar float? No PVC
Solution-dyed Olefin woven over a welded TPU core. Not glued PVC, not printed fabric.
Solution-dyed means the colour goes right through the fibre rather than sitting on the surface of it. Think a beetroot rather than a radish. Surface-dyed fabric goes chalky in a season. This does not.
The core is welded rather than glued, so there is no seam to peel apart in year two. It shrugs off chlorine, salt, mould and mildew season after season.
Will it get heavy and waterlogged over time? NO
No. Olefin sheds water rather than absorbing it and the TPU core is non-absorbent. Same weight at the end of the day as the start.
Is it stable enough for a child to jump onto? 140CM BASE
The Floata-Round is 140cm across, a wide base, far harder to tip than a narrow float. NOT a lifesaving flotation device.
How does it arrive, and how long does it take to set up? Ten minutes
It arrives flat, rolled and boxed, under ten kilos. The pump is in the box, so there is no compressor and no trip to the servo.
Inflate through the recessed valve, close the flap so it sits flush, and it is on the water in minutes.
How do I store it to prevent the fabric from smelling? DRY BEFORE ROLLING
Stand on its side to drain, rinse with fresh water, air dry before rolling. Olefin is quick drying and resists mould and mildew.
